Character portrait dialogue problem

I tried reinstalling and deleting dialogic, and even creating several new styles.

(579) [Dialogic] Failed to join character to position center. Could not find position container.

I never had this problem before, idk what suddenly made it like this.
I use the ln novel style.

Sorry to necro, but I am having the exact same issue. Did you ever find a solution?

Nevermind, figured it out. I was using start_timeline(). I needed to use start()
