Hi!

I'm writing to you since this is one of the few fault injection tools that are not from the 90s and also public!

Two simple test features I would suggest to allow for generating much more horrible failures:

• send a process a stop signal
• removing the application user's file / directory access permissions in mid-run (this covers many issues in one)

I don't know any Java or I'd have sent you a patch right away :)

Firstly, thank you for the constructive feedback and taking the time to use the Fault Injection Tool. We are delighted you found it useful. Regardinh the specific feedback:

1. Send a process a stop signal – The stop signals to processes are something that would make the FIT more practical to control the target cloud environments and switching various faults on/off also has interesting opportunities to create havoc on the target.
2. Removing the application user's file / directory access permissions in mid-run – You are correct to say this covers many issues in one.For example, the deletion of personal details would help the FIT conform to the upcoming GDPR regulations.
