SQLite has a few different hooks like the pre-update hook, I've been using this with rusqlite to create an audit log quite easily for what changed in an application I've been building. However I'm starting to butt up against the problem with not having a nice way to dynamically build queries, and was wondering if this would be possible with Diesel? I've searched and looked at the docs but haven't seen any Rust functions for it (I do see the C functions in libsqlite3_sys however)

This hook is currently not exposed, but we are open for contributions adding it. There is no design for it yet but staying close to the design in rusqlite might be a good idea. Maybe with an additional closure parameter wrapping the connection ptr to access the helper functions.
