Description
Bitnami have announced they’re moving their images to docker.io/bitnamilegacy and stopping updates - see bitnami/charts#35164. Because this chart depends on Bitnami, it’ll eventually run into issues (no updates, security patches, or image pulls failing).
Suppose your deployed Helm chart is failing to pull images from docker.io/bitnami. In that case, you can resolve this by subscribing to Bitnami Secure Images, ensuring that the Helm charts receive continued support and security updates. As a temporary workaround, you can upgrade to the same version and update the repository parameter for each container image to the Bitnami Legacy repository.
Chart maintainers are shifting away from Bitnami. Would it be possible to remove the Bitnami dependency, or at least make it configurable so users can switch to another source?
