mDNS under VPN

The app connects to TTGO via mDNS IP but it doesn't work under VPN.
Would it be possible to add the possibility of a static TTGO IP in the RDZ_GO setup? In this way you could have the TTGO in the base station and reach the TTGO with the app via OpenVPN.

I see this problem hasn't been addressed and I haven't got the apk built yet. However I can say that on my phone I can't use openVPN for any local host on the phone. For example when I use a browser with the TTGO on 198.xxx.xxx.xxx I need to set up OpenVPN so the browser is not used. Granted this is kind of impractical except that I installed the Vivaldi browser and then only use it for the TTGO.
