we expect students to be able to reference cells in different sheets right out of the gate (i.e., challenge on slide 9 we’ve never told them how to reference other sheets);
also same challenge: property price is column G
Shouldn’t describe the data as last 6 months, instead specify that it was collected between 7/1/23-1/1/24
PART 2:
slides 13, 18, 20 - month and year are flipped in the images, so the assignment is confusing
There’s no documentation about how to create the charts —> I just walked through the bar plot challenge with them to give them a sense of how to select data, change axes, etc
I think the pivot tables challenge is too difficult. There are very few instructions for creating a pivot table - consider adding more images or easy examples as a challenge instead of diving right into it
Challenges 1 and 2 do not align with the titles pre specified in the SUMMARY sheet
I’m confused why we wouldn’t just use vlookups for all of the Link to materials #3 tables (i.e., 3a seems like the most efficient, so why would we teach more complicated methods when we led off with the most efficient? Should consider finding a better example for 3b & 3c where the benefit of using the complicated methods are applicable
