The skill isn't working

I noticed since one week that when I ask to alexa to play a video on youtube the skill don't work and alexa reply: There was a problem with the requested skill's response

Anyone have that problem too?

I've got the same issue. After asking Alexa to "ask youtube to play ed sheeran" using the Alexa simulator in the Test tab, this is what I got:

Dear dmhacker. Thanks for your prompt reply. I updated the lamda fuction but it still not working. I have seen in the screenshot that you have the runtime "Node.js 6.10" that is not in the list. I can see in the list at least "Node.js 10.x". Before my lamda was on "Python 2.7".

I tried to re-create the lambda fuction following your first tutorial but alexa continue to say: "An error occured: NO_LAUNCH_FUNCTION"

please help us with a new step by step guide to create the AWS Lambda.

ok this is the same for me, I've opened an issue about it. I think we can close it that was referring about old python version

I have really followed every tutorial detail and get the skill to work "in general". However, every request using either the German or English version ends in an error ("Bei der Antwort des angeforderten Skill ist ein Problem aufgetreten" / "There was a problem responding to the requested skill").
As I said, I double checked everything in the latest tutorial and can't see any issue.
If I only say "Alexa, ask youtube", I get the expected "No launch function" error.
Any ideas hows to debug or fix it?

Yes we have the same problem. We asked Dmhacker for help months ago but he replied only one time since now but the solution don't work... Anyway thanks for sharing your experience with us
