🎉 MoveLink Play Store Submission - Ready!

✅ All Assets Complete

📦 Release Package

  • ✅ AAB File: android/app/build/outputs/bundle/release/app-release.aab (3.4 MB)
    • Signed with release keystore
    • Version 1.0.0 (versionCode: 1)
    • Ready to upload

🎨 Graphics Assets

  • ✅ App Icon: play-store-icon.png (512x512 px, 198 KB)

    • Perfect square ✓
    • MoveLink branded design ✓

  • ✅ Feature Graphic: feature-graphic.png (1024x500 px, 401 KB)

    • Professional banner ✓

    • Brand colors ✓

📤 Upload Instructions

1. Go to Google Play Console

URL: https://play.google.com/console

2. Store Listing

Navigate to: Store presence → Main store listing

Upload these files:

App Icon

  • Click "App icon" → Upload play-store-icon.png
  • Should accept immediately (512x512)

Feature Graphic

  • Scroll to "Feature graphic" → Upload feature-graphic.png
  • Should accept immediately (1024x500)

Phone Screenshots

  • Scroll to "Phone screenshots"
  • Upload at least 2 (recommend all 5):
    1. screenshots/web/01-home-quote-request.png ⭐
    2. screenshots/web/02-browse-movers.png ⭐
    3. screenshots/web/03-mover-registration.png
    4. screenshots/web/04-profile.png
  • They will display in upload order

Click "Save" at bottom of page

4. App Content

Complete these sections:

  • ✅ Privacy Policy: Need URL (see below)
  • ✅ App Access: No restrictions
  • ✅ Ads: No ads
  • ✅ Content Rating: Complete questionnaire (Utility, 18+)
  • ✅ Target Audience: 18+
  • ✅ Data Safety: Fill out data collection form
  • ✅ Photo/Video Permissions: Use the 250-character explanations provided earlier

5. Production Release

Navigate to: Release → Production → Create new release

  1. Upload AAB: android/app/build/outputs/bundle/release/app-release.aab
  2. Release name: 1.0.0 - Initial Release
  3. Release notes:

6. Review and Submit

  1. Click "Review release"
  2. Fix any warnings
  3. Click "Start rollout to Production"
  4. Wait for Google's review (1-3 days)

⚠️ Missing: Privacy Policy URL

You still need to:

Option 1: Quick Privacy Policy (Recommended)

  1. Go to: https://www.privacypolicygenerator.info/
  2. Fill in:
  3. Generate and download HTML
  4. Host it on your website at: /privacy-policy
  5. Use URL in Play Console

Option 2: Use Vercel to Host

Create public/privacy-policy.html in your project and deploy:

  • Release AAB built and signed

  • Screenshots (minimum 2) ready
  • Privacy Policy URL (REQUIRED!)
  • App description written
  • Content rating completed
  • Data safety form completed
  • All permissions explained
