Hi there, since this tool only contacts YouTube.com (except the auto-discovery), you can run it on a remote host. Latency should be minimal or even better running on a datacenter. I personally run it at home on a Raspberry Pi. |

Hi! First of all, thanks for building and maintaining the awesome project.
I’m considering setting it up, but I don’t want to keep my personal computer running 24/7 as the host. I noticed the note that auto-discovery requires being on the same network during setup, but devices can also be added manually using the YouTube TV code.
Has anyone here successfully run iSponsorBlockTV on a remote host (e.g., an AWS EC2 free-tier instance) instead of on a device in the home network? If so, I’d really appreciate hearing:
