Hey @Martinalmina31, thanks for sharing! Great idea. Is this Argentinian map public? I'd love to see it, to get a better idea of how these things are split up (and how people are using it). Side note: this might help solve #4. |

Here's our map: https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=1akoCNAjWN6XPVtCb4O8DG98Z35n1j71n&ll=-34.591459212113584%2C-58.2944427777784&z=11 It's just a plain google map with info on it now. Here you can see a concept development of what I think would work for matching by proximity: https://biored-delta.vercel.app/ I have a pretty clear vision of what could work for our community. Been in composting for a while now. |

Nice one. Buenos Aires is pumping! We have three main types of map pins on Peels at the moment:
That's to keep the form simple and map easy to understand. Given how few pins there are now (<300 worldwide) I think the categories you suggested (wormcaster, dry material, etc) would make more sense later on, when the map becomes full of map pins and filtering is needed. Perhaps residential donors (#4) would be a good first step to at least address folks with worms, dry material, or finished compost to give away. To get us to that point of a lot of listings: what do you think of me adding language support to Peels, so folks who visit the site in Argentina would see it in Spanish? Do you think there are enough interested people who would make those listings you suggested if it were available in Spanish? Would you be up for helping with translations, perhaps? |

HI there!
Yes, that would be great! If the map could be read in Spanish, there's a
pretty big community in Latin America to use it.
I can help with translations, no worries.

We have a similar map in Argentina. We've identified categories as:
I think including these 5 as other categories and maybe helping people to match by proximity according to their interests can bring the map to life!
