Error when opening a svg file in PyCharm: "This site can’t be reached" #383

Description

@schweizersta

I started with remote dev with PyCharm, on a linux machine and installed the newest Diagrams.net plugin (v0.2.6).
But when I want to open a previously created svg, I only see a white screen with this message:

This site can’t be reached
The webpage at https://drawio-plugin/index.html might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

Obviously drawio-plugin is no valid domain, but where does this come from ?

The Problem seems to be with the "diagrams.net editor" tab, because when I switch to "SvgEditor" tab, the source code is shown and to the right a preview of the svg ist visible, correctly rendered. In this tab it works.

I'm using PyCharm 2025.3.1, Build #JBC-253.28294.336, built on December 6, 2025

Does anybody expericence the same ?
Thanks for any help in any direction ... :-)

Addon:
I just tried to view the same svg, but on PyCharm (2025.1.3) on Windows where I first created the svg, with the same version of Diagrams.net plugin installed and it works! Even more strange ...
