Appeal to Lift Remaining U.S. Sanctions on Syria After Executive Order of June 30, 2025

On June 30, 2025, President Trump signed Executive Order 14312 ending most U.S. sanctions on Syria, effective July 1, 2025. Only targeted sanctions on Assad, human rights abusers, ISIS, and similar entities remain.

Docker Hub restrictions are blocking Syrian developers, NGOs, and educators from rebuilding digital infrastructure. These sanctions are no longer required under U.S. law.

Request:

• Please lift Docker Hub sanctions on Syria in line with EO 14312.
• Restrict only entities that remain legally sanctioned.
• Allow Syrian civil society access to Docker Hub for humanitarian and rebuilding work.

Currently docker hub blocks all requests coming from syrian IPs without differentiating between commercial and personal accounts. From your answer one can understand this is not intended or is planned to change. Care to elaborate?
