Docker login success with PAT but still cannot pull images

Hello,
I created PAT and use it to login (using terminal in Manjaro) to docker
The message say "Login Successful"
I keep on getting the same error while trying to get any image from the hub (in this case I need latest pihole image)

The message is:

Error response from daemon: Head "https://registry-1.docker.io/v2/pihole/pihole/manifests/latest": unauthorized: your account must log in with a Personal Access Token (PAT) - learn more at docs.docker.com/go/access-tokens

if I type

docker pull pihole/pihole

Looks like it's a problem related only on my specific configuration on my desktop pc with manjaro. I tried to pull the same image from a raspberry pi 4 with the latest version of dietpi and everything was running fine.

@QuelloLargo83 Have you tried to remove the $HOME/.docker/config.json and sign in again ?

Just for me to know, you have logged in into you terminal with docker login -u <username> in your terminal before docker pull pihole/pihole ?

I tried right now.
After docker login config.json was recreated with this address:

"https://index.docker.io/v1/"

but again when pulling image I still have the same statement that says that I must use PAT to login.

Yes I followed the instructions and the first thing I tried was login ,the terminal says "Login Succeded" so I think this part is ok.

The other difference is that on manjaro Docker is not the latest version, while on dietpi I have the latest.

Should I try to force the update, maybe using AUR on Manjaro?
