Typed signature still available on hosted signing link even when disabled in Settings → Account

Even though typed signatures are disabled in Settings → Account for both Test and Production, the Type option still appears when opening the signing link received via email. I want signers to see only Draw and Upload.

I have also tried disabling in Form Builder.

In both cases, the Type option still appears when the signer opens the email link.

@jonm01 account settings do not apply to embedded signing.
The correct signature format is "drawn_or_upload" but not "drawn,upload"
Let me know if it solves the issue

@omohokcoj Its does not work. It always shows all three options. (I created new a document with builder and tried opening the signing linking in private window)

@omohokcoj Thanks a lot. This partly resolves the issue. If a signer has previously used a typed signature, page still offers the Type option by default. Only after the signer clears that saved signature, the options I configured are enforced (drawn_or_upload).

@omohokcoj For my use case though, most signers will be using the email link, so I need the same restriction to apply there as well. If there’s a way to enforce “no typed signatures” on the email link flow, that would solve it. (ie created with embedded Form Builder & signed using email link)

@jonm01 for email links the account settings should work - the reason why you might see a typed signature is because if was remembered and reused on a new document.
To ensure it's only drawn signature it's also possible to pass signature preferences.format on the API side:
