Closed discussions suddenly open again and contain spam #374

PHP: 8.2 (think so, otherwise I have to check again)
My wiki gets a bit automated spam.
They use the discussion feature for it and try to add their advertisement to my site. No one ever sees it, because all discussion are moderated and I have to un-hide posts before there are visible for normal users.
Now the problem is, that when I set a discussion to "closed" for certain pages that get more frequent spam after a short time it is set to "open" again (see attachments, 4 hours between the two screenshots).
