Description
At some point I read something that "restarting" a sentence should be done with an em dash and then a space, like so:
“I’m— I feel better, after talking to Glenn and Chevalier.”
We should also be sure to capitalize the rest of the sentence after the restart, as in this example:
“Were you— Did you help? Were you a part of that?”
Much of the current round of corrections enforces this.
However, I'm getting conflicting advice on this from various sources, and maybe this is incorrect. It's worth doing a more detailed dive into various style guides, other books, etc. and seeing what the right path is here, then doing a holistic pass.
