Describe your request

I'd like Doom to provide good pixel based scrolling either as default or as an optional module.
This would install the good-scroll package that can be found here and activate it with (good-scroll-mode 1)

If it is possible, I would like to contribute myself.
This small feature should be easy for a beginner contributor like me to implement and would allow me to discover how to contribute here.

Briefly explain its use-case

This provides so much of a better experience that I had to screencast the difference:

emacs2.mp4

The difference as you can see is really impressive.
Here, I do not even showcase the worse case scenario with the vanilla setup where it is sometimes impossible for me to scroll past an image.
This package also improves the all around scrolling experience outside of this problem with images, it really provides good smooth scrolling.
Reading and writing using this package will be less desorienting.
I battled with the emacs variables to get the best out of emacs using only vanilla features but installing this package really improved my experience with the software in a huge way.
