We're versioning out the troubleshoot integrity PowerShell script at 10.0 on #35176.

The script is described here. The script can be seen here.

The powershell script makes me sad, because the actual schema of the config should be internal implementation detail. I think if we want to maintain it, we need to move it to aspnetcore or runtime and include it in some test, otherwise it's quite possible it is not accurate.

Are we ...

  • Going to permanently version it out with no further action? If so, we can close this issue.
  • Update it with a new script that will work with dotnet.boot.js and move it to either the aspnetcore or runtime repo with tests. A new issue would be opened on either of those repos and this issue will change to cross-link the script in its new location with additional text updates to cover the new script.
  • Do something else script-based or code-based for troubleshooting integrity check failures?
