How do I replace individual pipeline steps for a resource?

I'm using Vite dev server during development and Azure Static Web App using the second-party SWA adapter for SvelteKit during production.

I realize that there's no official SWA integration, so I was trying to hack a system together using AddViteApp and a custom PublishAsStaticWebApp or something like it, but before I could even start with the deployment logic I noticed that AddViteApp automatically creates a publish pipeline step (to generate an OCI image) with no obvious API for replacing it with your own pipeline.

So here's a few questions:

1. Are there any plans for an official SWA integration in the near future?
2. Regardless of the previous question; what is the best way to remove/replace the deploy steps from a resource? The build step seems, at first glance, to be doing the right thing. I can always bifurcate the resource into Run/publish resources, but then the code becomes an absolute mess with conditionals and scope.
