How do I select a formatter for my ILoggerProvider

Hi all;

I have written my own ILoggerProvider and it works great for messages without an exception. But with an exception it does not include it.

How can I set it to use a specific formatter? For when it calls:

public void Log<TState>(LogLevel logLevel, EventId eventId, TState state, Exception? exception, 
    Func<TState, Exception?, string> formatter)
