Telemetry & Data Collection?

I have checked different places about data collection but am not clear on the answer, in short, does running this tool share our now documented code with anyone?

The closest thing I found was a couple blog websites saying to set this variable ("DOTNET_CLI_TELEMETRY_OPTOUT", https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/core/tools/dotnet-environment-variables#dotnet_cli_telemetry_optout) to true to turn off sending data to Microsoft but I am more concerned about this tool collecting our code and sharing it.

I've done the following, did I not check a specific place?

• Read through the Q&A section, 6 pages.
• Read security md file.

Can anyone point me to official docs about data collection?
