Missing a working example

I would appreciate to see a working example here. It is a bit hard to put all code fragments at the right spot. Also using two unrelated examples is not very helpful.

Thank you for opening this issue. I'll add it to the backlog. We're currently reworking a lot of WPF content for .NET Core WPF and this is something we can look at when we get to data. I'm afraid this won't be anytime soon but the feedback is valuable.
