The footer "2019" is displayed in the header position

Affected case:
I8 - String header and footer for Vertical list

Steps to Reproduce

1. Deploy https://devdiv.visualstudio.com/Pkgs/_git/VS.TestAssets.Xaml?path=/Assets/Projects/ManualMauiTests on Mac/iOS platform.
2. Click I8 -> Headers and footers -> Header and footer (string)
3. Observe the header and footer display

Actual Behavior:
The footer "2019" is displayed in the header position

Expected Behavior:
Normally displayed in the footer position

Yes, this is a regression. The issue cannot be repro on Inflight/current - 9.0.60-ci.main.25174.35 & 9.0.50 & 9.0.40 & 9.0.0 & 8.0.100.

This issue is reproducible on the main branch as well. The regression is caused by the changes in PR #28225 related to CollectionView performance improvements.

@sheiksyedm I don't have access to https://devdiv.visualstudio.com/Pkgs/_git/VS.TestAssets.Xaml?path=/Assets/Projects/ManualMauiTests so I can't see the XAML/cs you used to create the use case, please add it to a public repo.

That said, I hope #28670 fixes it, but I couldn't verify since I don't know how to repro, please include a XAML or something :)

I verified it. This issue not reproes on Inflight/current - 9.0.60-ci.main.25176.62 and latest MAUI release 9.0.50 with CollectionView2 handlers.

@albyrock87 I have attached a sample code that reproduces the issue in both the main and inflight-current branches. The issue occurs specifically in CV1, while CV2 remains unaffected.
