Document outline : automatically collapse members and enums

Note : I’m using C# in VS 2022 17.9.0.

I’d like to have an option to collapse by default all member zones and enums, so the visibility of the methods would not be greatly lowered when there are a lot of members & enums, as the methods are the most important marks for navigation.

Thanks in advance for considering this request.

EDIT:
Also, it'd be nice to be able to add a separator by adding "//" outside of a method. (Visual Assist plugin does that)

This is marked as "Document Outline", but I think this might be talking about a different feature. If the original author is still watching this, can you clarify if this is the section/feature of interest?

I'm using VS2022 and I posted this request on developercommunity.visualstudio and they copied it here.

"Outlining" must be the options for "Document outline", as shown in the following screenshot :

You can see there I have only members visible and no method, making the navigation impossible. I wish the members could be all collapsed by default.

@manutoo Just to check, what language are you using? I ask because thsi is roslyn (C#), but your naming style (CXxxx and m_pXXXX) makes this look like it's probably C++. Thanks!

Damn, you've unmasked me ! I'm an old C++ coder, but I moved to C# years ago so here I am actually using C# but with my old habits... 😄 (as stated in the OP)
