COI - How does the Virtual Product Storage work?

Hi,
could you please explain how the virtual product storage works?
I would like to add an infite soure of a certain product to my coi factory plan.

Hi,
There are actually 5 storage types by product type: countable, loose, fluid, molten and virtual. Virtual storage holds virtual items: electricity, pollution, maintenance, workers. You can guess about other types.

They also work in 3 modes - source, sink, passthrough.

They don't hold specific item, rather item type is chosen when you connect it to something. I.e. you choose source mode, connect it to your factory and now it holds infinite of something.
