Hi when we copy texts that has formating and paste on Keynote NF it makes a mess, when we try Crtl + Shift + V also dont help . Any way to do this? Thanks!

@rocketprius-code can you share more detail on the source APP where the formatted text is copied? I have always been coping from WORD, PowerPoint etc. and all work well, no matter Ctrl + V with format remained or Ctrl + Shift + V as plain text.
Also your keynote version. I'm using 2.1.7.01.

Hello thanks for replying Really appreciate it. I save a lot of info for references to quick access later ( projects etc ) from Google AI searches and from ChatGPT and neither paste or paste text on works correctly. It put all texts in a continuous and single paragraph.

@000forest, Thanks for your help. It's essential for me that the user community collaborates by resolving any simple questions that may arise. There are many advanced users who can do this. Right now, I'm putting a lot of effort into some changes I'm working on (in the "Entries" branch), and it's difficult for me to have to stop and address such vague reports, to be honest.

@rocketprius-code, You must understand that you cannot submit support tickets with so little information. It's clear that the application does allow copying and pasting formatted text, even from web pages. As you describe it, it seems the application doesn't allow you to paste formatted text at all.
When reporting a support ticket, it's essential to provide all the details necessary for its identification. At a minimum, you must specify which version of KNT and which version of Windows you are using. If the problem occurs when pasting from a web page, indicate this, and of course, specify which browser you are using. Provide some example pages and a screenshot, if possible. Even before reporting the support ticket, verify whether the problem occurs only in a specific browser or in several (it's best to test in multiple browsers).

When I can, and depending on what you point out, I'll look into it in more detail, but I've done some tests pasting text copied from web pages and it's still working fine, even from ChatGPT or Claude. I did these tests from Firefox, where I'm logged in. I've also tried pasting from other pages, loaded in Edge and Chrome, and they work too. It's true that pasting from Google's "AI Mode" isn't preserving the bold text, but it is preserving the text structure (bullets, etc.).
The first thing you need to do is check if you have the option "Paste External using 'Plain text mode'" selected.

(One thing, I want to remind you that it is not possible to upload files or images by replying to the thread via email; for that you have to access the GitHub page)

Thanks for your explanation. I love this application , I'd use it for years as a storage of ideas and keep track .of many projects. Now with AI there are many texts resulted from searches that has a lot of relevant pieces of information . But when pasting to store it becomes a blob.
