Nominee Background

Technical Background and Experience

Currently working as a backend development engineer at Alibaba Cloud, responsible for the development and maintenance of some basic platforms used by Alibaba Group (including Dragonfly).

@CooooolFrog was joined our community in 2025 ( #110 ), and has been actively participating in the development and maintenance of Dragonfly, contributing to the project in various ways.

Open Source Contribution Experience

I think open source code is a very cool thing. It allows everyone in the world to see my work, and it also allows me to learn a lot of new knowledge from various excellent projects.

Contributions to Dragonfly

I have made some contributions to the project, including:

• fix(job): support config sync peer task batch size dragonfly#4654 New feature which support config sync peer task batch size.
• Orgnanize and participate community meetings and discussions, and provide some suggestions for the development of the project.

Technical Skills

Java and GoLang languages and some related development technology stacks.

Community Involvement

I am one of the PMCs of the Apache HoraeDB project and participate in the development and open source operations of this project.

I participated in the design and development of the distributed solution for the open source time series database HoraeDB, and completed the construction of HoraeDB's distributed capabilities.

Nomination Justification

Why This Candidate

I hope that the community can allocate more development work in the form of issues, and have more good first issues, so that community developers who want to get started can participate more easily.

Future Plans and Expectations

• I hope to gain a deeper understanding of the Dragonfly project through community work and stay up-to-date on the latest community developments, enabling me to better support and maintain Dragonfly within Alibaba Group.
• I hope to improve my technical skills through community work and participate in more development and design work.

Values and Cultural Fit

Technology is for the better development of the project. I believe that actual project needs and user needs are more important than technological advancement and technological pursuit.
