Thank you for your kind words. The SFTPGo Enterprise offerings available on cloud marketplaces (such as AWS, Azure, and GCP) include the equivalent of a Starter or Premium license. The Starter offering includes both local filesystem support and the cloud storage backend specific to the respective platform: Amazon S3 on AWS, Azure Blob Storage on Azure, and Google Cloud Storage on GCP. Therefore there's no need to purchase a separate license. |

The documentation isn’t super clear on this. We’ve been using the SFTPgo for years via the EC2 AMI. We are a small company, the software is amazing and just works, so I really don’t feel the need to go in and upgrade every month. We’re getting ready for our busy season and I’m getting all of our things shaped up and saw all the discussion around the enterprise version versus the open source version.
So I’m really just curious if we will need to purchase a license in addition to the cost of running the EC2 image?
