Show only virtual folders for specific users

I created two virtual folders and assigned them to a user. Also in the "file system" section i selected a local disk storage, lets say this one points to /my/data.

Both are working. Now i want, that this user can only see the virtual folders, not all the others folders inside /my/data. I need to add something i "file system" section, if i leave the path in local storage simply blank, the user cant see anything - even the virtual folders.

TL;DR: I need a way, that a specific user can ONLY see virtual folders and nothing else.

I found a workaround: I created an empty folder and pointed the local storage to /my/data/empty_folder. Now they can only see the virtual folders and nothing else. But this feels like a dirty workaround, so i leave this open.
