The device is detected and works as a light. Switching it on or off triggers the fingerbot to push and pull the finger once.

I need a possibility to only push or pull the finger.

e.g.
Turning the device on -> pushes the finger (and keep it pushed)
Turning the device off -> pulls the finger (and keep it pulled)

I already tried this DDF and changed the manufacturer, but then the device doesn't work at all.

But after a Deconz restart the old one is used. It seems, that for known devices the DDFs from the devices folder aren't used. Only for unknown devices it seems to work.

After a Deconz restart (docker compose down/up) or hot reload (doesn't matter) the "old" DDF is shown. This would also be an explaination for my other issue with the motion sensor.

I also tried to rename the file and place it in a separate tuya folder to match the path attribute:

After deleting/repairing the device, the battery is shown with 0%.

The "path" in the DDf is not used.
It's the normal working mode on Docker, it's the principe, all is virtual.

What is your OS ? If you are using the Official Deconz docker, you can put DDF on /opt/deCONZ/Tuya for exemple, it's a persistent folder.

Just put it in the persistent folder, Deconz will use it instead of the official one.

Exactly this seems not to work reliable.

For unknown devices it works e.g. for my motion sensors that are not covered ootb.

But for already known devices like the fingerbot it seems not to work.

I place the files in "/home/psc/Docker-Deconz/deconz/data/devices" which is mapped to "/opt/deCONZ/devices"

Is there a way to test new configurations without restarting the docker container? This completly disables all my sensors for round about 1 hour until all are reachable again. So no lights turn on in the house during this time.

How could I use/change this attribute now? From Home-Assistant would be best.

The version it can be because it' s a new folder and I m using a relative path for it

You can add this file or just make with it, it's just a test , the official DDF will be in the official Tuya folder.

I have changed nothing on battery working mode.
You can take a look direclty in the API using Phoscon/help/API information/Sensors/.....
You will found the ZHABattery with a field state/battery.

Am I understanding correctly that you are asking for how to get a on/off toggle into home assistant in this case?

The integration currently looks at devices from the lights list with the types ON_OFF_LIGHT, ON_OFF_OUTPUT, ON_OFF_PLUGIN_UNIT, SMART_PLUG.

@Smanar added the parameter into the battery section, but it doesn't seem to work.

Ok so config/clickmode is not used by the HA plugin
But config/devicemode is used and enabled for ZHASwitch

Can try this DDF have replaced the ZHABattery by a ZHASwitch
But as this device don't return "action on the device", I don't use state/buttonevent, not sure the plugin will be happy with it.
And now the state/battery is a config/battery
So better to delete the last entry before using the new DDF.
