spatial proteomics data to SPE

Hi.
I have data from a spatial proteomics experiment in the format shown below, which just contains x-y co-ordinates, intensity and mz values.

I would like to read this into an SPE object. How could I do this with SpatialExperiment?

Hi,

you can try to follow the instructions for loading molecule-based data by aid of the BumpyMatrix and store the mz and intensities in the colData.

or maybe you can summarize the coordinates by computing centroids and do a mean value of the intensities and mz.
