More typos

In this bullet list in the overview page, the items should not end with periods (they are not complete sentences) or commas:

@zlite Most effort is being concentrated on the new api so we may not fix anything that isn't considered critical. I'd still appreciate your bug reports because I don't yet know how much of this documentation might be reused for the new API.

@mrpollo I updated the master copy "README.md". Please update published version when/if you have time.
