How to specify title for export to PDF and print, maybe even header/footer info

I'm using datatables with the export function. I need to add some additional info on the header when it is exported. I know it uses the page title. I can manipulate that via javascript, but the text is too long. For example, I'm trying to have a report title of "Customer: XXXX From: DD/MM/YYYY To: DD/MM/YYYY".
With the current format, it is so large the header wraps to the next line, and doesn't look good.

looks like the app uses makepdf? but I'm not having any luck manipulating the options.
