Using druidingestion CRD for automating ingestion from Kafka on druid

I'm following the tutorial - https://druidonk8s.substack.com/p/demystifying-the-druid-ingestion to implement ingestion into druid from kafka. I have followed the steps mentioned in the document, however i do not see a datasource getting created in the druid console. 
I'm using datainfrahq druid operator, and druid version 29.0.0.

Can someone help troubleshoot the issue ?
