FORCE CHECKPOINT ambiguity

In DuckDB's documentation, FORCE CHECKPOINT is described as "Abort any in-progress transactions to synchronize the data."

However, in the code error message "Try using FORCE CHECKPOINT to wait until all active transactions are finished".

So, does it mean waiting or aborting?
