Support for Azure Storage Account as storage

For persons having most of its assets in Azure it would be great to be able to use Azure Storage Account for the storage.

I have tried FSSPEC for writing and it works but is more complicated because you need Python and some kind of wrapper.

Since there are similar request from two years ago, I’m just wondering if anybody knows if this is on the roadmap.
