[Video] Style of content (project based vs. mini examples)

Based on the content outlined in #68 I think there are two possible ways to go in terms of the video content.
Apart from for the intro to iex and types of data in Elixir, I think we could introduce the rest of the content either through little examples where we show each thing in a nutshell (here's how to use a case statement, here's how to do pattern matching), or we create a micro project and introduce concepts as we encounter them in a sort of code along style way.

I personally prefer the idea of a project based walkthrough with core libraries and stuff included, but I don't know if other people thing introducing things in a very separate way might be better?

One suggestion is that you do not have to create just one micro-project to cover all the basic elements of the language. Perhaps it would be easier to have a sequence of little micro-projects which exercise more and more elements of the language, as for example what Mike Kennedy did in his python course: https://github.com/mikeckennedy/python-jumpstart-course-demos At the very least, breaking it down into a sequence of micro-projects might offer a start which will later allow you to sequence all the concepts within one micro-project, but the sequence of micro-project approach allows smaller iterations and feed-back loops and allows you to think about smaller subsets of the langauge at a time and how they might be applied.

Another structure would be a main project with asides that create standalone sandboxes to explore specific concepts. For example, an aside might go: here are the basic use cases of pattern matching, and here are some examples, and then before or after diving into the application of the concept within the overriding project. That is more than double the work load, though. For sure, the isolated concepts exposition is the easiest intellectually to manage: it comes down to finding and sequencing isolated examples.

Yet another structure would be a sequence of code challenges (like Exercism or Codewars) that force the use of more and more programming elements. This would be easier to do than micro-projects (which I define as tasks of a complexity that involves more than one code-challenge to solve it, i.e Stephen Grider's Card Project he uses to each the fundamental of Elixir in his Udemy course is nothing but a sequence of code challenges around modelling a small aspect of card games.
