I have the impression sedonadb is probably faster, but I'm not there that's a fair benchmark. The benchmark uses tables that are already writting in the database for sedonadb, but it reads the data for duckdb. it does not look like an apples to apples comparison.

obs. afaik, there are no plans of addind sedonadb to CRAN, at least not yet.
