Set treatment plan parameters

Before you can start with dose calculation and inverse planning in matRad you need to set a couple of general treatment plan parameters.

Within the matRad script, this corresponds to the first cell. Within the GUI, these settings can be adjusted interactively.

After import of patient data in matRad's native format, the desired settings are specified in the pln struct. Please see the wiki page about the pln struct for further information.

Note that matRad comes with sample patient data from the CORT dataset: common optimization for radiation therapy so you can directly play around with all functionalities. DICOM import is currently only supported as part of the beta release in our development branch. We are working at high pressure towards a stable release that can be included in the regular matRad version including appropriate documentation in our wiki.
