Thank you for your interest in contributing to eLyKseeR ("Project"). To clarify the intellectual property rights in contributions, we ask all contributors to sign this Contributor License Agreement ("CLA").
By signing this CLA, you accept and agree to the following terms for your present and future contributions to the Project.
"You" means the individual or legal entity signing this agreement.
"Contribution" means any original work, including code, documentation, or other materials, that you submit to the Project.
"Submit" means any form of communication sent to the Project, including but not limited to pull requests, issues, emails, or other electronic communications.
You hereby grant to Alexander Diemand ("Project Owner") and to recipients of software distributed by the Project Owner a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable copyright license to:
- Reproduce, prepare derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, and distribute your Contributions and such derivative works
- Sublicense these rights to third parties
You hereby grant to the Project Owner and to recipients of software distributed by the Project Owner a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable patent license to make, have made, use, offer to sell, sell, import, and otherwise transfer your Contributions.
You acknowledge and agree that the Project Owner may distribute the Project and your Contributions under:
The GNU General Public License v3.0 (GPLv3), and/or Alternative commercial or proprietary licenses at the Project Owner's sole discretion
This dual-licensing model allows the Project Owner to offer commercial licenses to third parties who wish to use the Project without GPLv3 obligations.
You represent that:
a) You are legally entitled to grant the above licenses.
b) Each of your Contributions is your original creation (or you have rights to submit it).
c) Your Contribution submissions include complete details of any third-party licenses or other restrictions.
d) If your employer has rights to intellectual property you create, you have received permission to make Contributions on behalf of that employer, or your employer has waived such rights for your Contributions.
You are not expected or required to provide support for your Contributions, except to the extent you desire to do so. Your Contributions are provided "AS IS" with no warranties.
You agree to notify the Project Owner if any of the facts or circumstances in your representations change.
