Custom Eclipse settings do not propagate to the runtime workspace

Our Eclipse build has some custom settings, especially useful is the automatic setup of the default Git workspace as `${workspace_loc}/git`.

Currently (and as far as I remember since the start of this project), these custom settings do not propagate into the runtime workspace. One has to properly configure the git workspace for every runtime workspace.
