Kimi 2.6 Error: thinking is enabled but reasoning_content is missing in assistant tool call message

What happened?

Seems like kimi 2.6 is returning errors on "out-of-cache" continuation of a session:

Steps to reproduce

1/ Perform some work
2/ Wait a bit (15min in my case)
3/ Ask to run some work on the same session
=> Error: 400 {"error":{"type":"invalid_request_error","message":"thinking is enabled but reasoning_content is missing in assistant tool call message at index
262"},"type":"error"}

Expected behavior

Work should continue

I got the same issue here.
New session can still trigger it. I just ask the agent to pull rebase and the push. The pull rebase works well, but the issue comes after the push finished.
In old session, use /tree to back to a point can avoid this issue sometimes.
