A blog for news and updates

Should the Earthstar website have its own blog for occasional updates? So far I've used my personal blog for this purpose, but that seems less appropriate as time goes on.

The blog posts could be just like all the other documents (md files), but I'd have to think about how to index and create navigation for them.
