"Involvement playsCharacter Character".

I may understand something wrong here:

The description is

A character played by a person. The relationship implies that the person has intellectual rights to the performance of the character.

I'm not a 100 % sure, but it seems that in this statement there is some kind of intellectual right that an actor has on the character: like David Suchet or Kenneth Brannagh have the rights over the performance of Hercule Poirot... but I think that is not the case right? It belongs to the creator of the character (Agatha Christie). Or does it simply imply that the actor has the right to perform the character? In that case the description seems a bit misleading or not relevant?

I think the description is outdated and was created before we introduced the class "Involvement" (or "Role", its name in the beginning). We are planning to review all documentation, especially definitions, descriptions and labels to be correct and in sync. This is supposed to happen in the near future, before we start adding features again.
