Image won't render if value came from a data set/db: row["image_url "]

Data set preview result shows that the return data is correct and has value, output columns also has the correct type image_url (string), and property bindings are also set, also tried using Dynamic Text to see if it will print/show the value properly, which it did, but for some reason Image won't load when using row["image_url"]", not even dataSetRow["image_url"].

Setting the URI directly to the value works though.

Works with (ancient) BIRT 4.2.1, this should work with 4.23.0 as well.

I tried previewing it, also empty. Seems like a local issue?

Hmmm, I may have found the issue.

Its not displaying in preview, but it does when I do "Run > View Report". Is there something I need to do to make it appear in Preview?

No idea. I always use Run../View Report, and never preview.
Besides, preview is pointless if your target output is anything but HTML.
