New: We are thrilled to announce that openDuT will be presenting at the OCX conference in April! We'll briefly discuss what this means for us.
As an additional idea: If there's interest, we can also look at a collection of stories that are well-suited for getting started and making your first contributions to openDuT.
Participants
Michael Plichta (MBTI)
Frank Märkle (MBTI)
Pascal Hirmer (MBAG)
Leo Xenakis (AVL-AT)
Maciej Kubica (in-tech)
Stefan Marksteiner (AVL)
Meeting Minutes
Recap of the last openDuT community meeting
Meeting on 12/10/2025:
Presentation of the openDuT Testframework VIPER
Idea: Everyone records the goals / ideas from the collected (see PDF) as an Issue in openDuT that they would like to pursue
There were a few participants who want to try out openDuT
Partner Contributions and Future Goals
Maciej: secured funding, next steps will come
Frank:
We implemented mTLS excluding NetBird, as the Netbird Client does not support mTLS in a suitable way.
We currently dockerise EDGAR for usage on normal Linux PCs, maybe also for further OS
There where some contributions, but we don't know the person. Also this round has no clue. Nevertheless: contribution is welcome!
OCX Conference
We were accepted to present at the OCX Conference in Brussels from April 21st to 23rd, 2026. We will be represented in the Automotive Track there. With this, we want to promote the project a bit, possibly gain further contributors or interested parties for its use.
Getting started stories
currently no need for explaining stories
Input from Pascal
Usage in Shift2SDV" (use case for testing -> AVL);
Leo is in confersation with 2 partners (Austria and Germany), openDuT is in two buildiung blocks: Shift2SDV and digital twin, svd has a lot of to do with testing
Stefan: less good news many plans on testing platform with openDuT, Platform discontinued, we should more rely on Leos cyber sec testing -> focus moved
Michael: there is also some interest in in S-CORE
HAL4SDV: a lot of people involved: Frauenhofer, Aumovio (vECU Platform), TWT, University of Oulu, NXP; current situation not known
MOD4SDV (proposal phase)
Leo: We can introduce openDuT with VIPER in Shift 2 SDV: For this, we can use about half an hour in a regular meeting. Michael will speak with Elmar, the specialist for VIPER, about this. Then we will plan the presentation.
