Version 0.10.1 of openDuT has been released! For more details and migration instructions, see the changelog.
still some problems with CAN to debug
there where a lot of pull requests (nice :-))
Fabian: setup was somehow successful: it runs (linux machine / RPi connected to windows), but didn't try to send messages so far
Feedback: Setup documentation is somewhat sparse, when reader is not deep into Linux.
Feedback: Had to compile Cannelloni himself for running on his Raspberry Pi, because the release didn't work. But wasn't certain, if he used the correct Cannelloni release then with Raspberry Pi OS architecture. He wanted to check that for the next Community Meeting.
Infosys is working on two demos, one with simple CAN communication, another involving both CAN and Ethernet.
Topics of interest
Hazem is very much interested in CAN and also in VIPER
there are 3 OEMs interested
One supplier wants to use openDuT in the context of a TCU (can + eth). Due to the complexity this might be the last one supported.
We discussed the priorities and reasons behind the current milestones
MVP hosted service: minimal set of featores for project usage (1st priority)
Initial Viper integration (worked in parallel due to the people working in topics of interest)
Ready for Broad Rollout (later, for usage in multiple projects / with multiple companies)
agreed on current priority; but emphasized, that we want to consider the needs of all contributing members!
