I started using the 1.59 AppImage release of Theia IDE on Debian 13 with Gnome. It keeps filling up the system memory (32GB) until either the system becomes unstable and crashes or just Theia crashes with Gnome printing a message that it was using too much memory and failed.
At first I disabled some extensions that I thought might be at fault, but the crashed persist. Currently it crashes some 10 times a day.
I have also unpacked the AppImage, just in case, to eliminate one potential layer of errors.
What would be the best way to debug this? How can I profile the memory usage of the platform and individual extensions to find the cause?
