Has anyone switched from this Gem to the default twilio one?

We've been having issues with testing + maintainability using this gem, esp when we're 2 major rails versions ahead of gem support. Has anyone else done projects ripping out this gem and using https://github.com/sendgrid/sendgrid-ruby? Would love to hear any advice

We used to use the old one, but we've switched to this gem as the sendgrid ruby gem doesn't integrate with actionmailer.
