Main purpose
in previous issues, i observed related problems with this device. some have been resolved, while others seem to still be in the adaptation phase. therefore, i've compiled the issues encountered using the latest version 2.0rc2 driver here so that maintainers and community members can resolve them
CrashDump encountered while executing power program
in a previous issue, i understand that devices of the same model as mine encountered a Qualcomm CrashDump during the first startup/shutdown after installation. i encountered the same problem after installing it myself. furthermore, after following the instructions in the reply, some of the issues were resolved
the triggers for these problems include, but are not limited to, the following:
- shutdown (long press power button and slide)
- power off (use
shutdown /s /t 0 /f or shutdown /r /t 0 /f)
- switch back from another slot in the bootloader (i've tried both
UEFI-boot.img , versions 1.1 and 2.0rc2, and the result was the same)
- and others...
Unable to charge in Woa environment
i've tried using the original oppo/oneplus charging adapter with a type-a2c charging cable (80w and 100w PD fast charging, both supporting DC 5v2a output). the result is that neither adapter is recognized by Windows and charging fails. (however, it still works on android)
this is something i saw in a previous issue, but the maintainers didnt seem to have provided a proper solution
Unable to connect to the internet during oobe
can scan and connect to networks normally (both 2.4ghz and 5ghz) during oobe. however, after clicking the next page, it displays the message: You appear to have lost your internet connection, and forces a retry
although this can be bypassed by opening cmd and modifying the registry, and there are no connection problems during actual use, i still want to update this driver
In conclusion
even if this project is discontinued, it will always be an amazing one. i hope it continues to be updated, by both official maintainers and community volunteers.
Everyone who contributes deserves to be appreciated.
